ProtiCycle is a modern-day organic waste technology company that uses the Black Soldier Fly to produce high-quality protein, fat and organic fertiliser from waste in our food system.
Our vision is to create a sustainable alternative to fishmeal protein by using insects. Our mission; to foster a circular organic waste economy in South Africa and create a sustainable, and profitable, solution to organic waste in our food system. We aim to realize this by using different organic waste streams from our food production industries to feed our insect farms for the future.
